Factory cast offs come from excess material that fall away when the original pieces are stamped/cut/punched or drawn from virgin material. So even though these discards are scrap, they are made from new material.
As result, very complicated, expensive to make pieces, from new material are sold dirt cheap.

Buyers for these types materials are architects, designers, artists, engineers, builders, tinkerers and makers.The pieces shown here in the photo are created and supplied by Die-matic. The material ranges from 12-18 gauge steel.
